Canada Day Celebration Tuesday, July 1, 2025
Please be advised that a temporary road closure will be in effect on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m. for the Havelock Canada Day Parade.
Road Closure Date: Tuesday, July 1, 2025 Closure Duration: 11:00 a.m. to approximately 11:20 a.m., or the duration of the parade
Roadway Closure Intersections:
- Mathison Street W and Park Street
- Park Street and George Street E (County Rd 48)
- George Street E and Orange Street
- George Street E and Victoria Street
- Victoria Street and King Street
Parade Route The parade will begin at the HBM Community Centre, it will proceed through the Mathison St W gate, it continue south on Park St to George St intersection, it continue west along George St to Victoria St, it will proceed north on Victoria St to King St, and it will continue east on King St through the King St gateway which is the official parade end point. Roadway intersections along the parade route will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic during this time to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
Canada Day Festivities Following the parade, Canada Day festivities will continue at into the HBM Community Centre ballpark outfield until approximately 3 p.m., featuring a Canada Day opening ceremony, live music, BBQ & Canada Day treats, giant inflatables, loads of games, activities, which are free and all are welcome.
