Recreation and Programs
The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen does not deliver any organized programming directly. There are many organizations that provide programming at our Township facilities. The Township does support our organizations by assisting with making the programming accessible to everyone.
The Township believes that recreation is an important service and recognizes the value of resident participation in recreation activities. The Township is committed to supporting a broad range of recreation programs and services within budgetary limits and will strive to develop and maintain recreation facilities, parks, trails, natural areas, heritage and cultural assets to ensure residents have access to recreational experiences. Programs, services and facilities will be planned, delivered and evaluated to ensure they are affordable, inclusive and responsive to community need.
The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen have various organizations that provide recreational activities within the Township for youth, adults and seniors. These activities range from organized sports for youth to leisure activities for seniors. Below is a list of our organizations that provide recreational programming in the Township.
