Due to a water main repair, the municipal office will be closed the morning of Monday June 15, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Register to Vote for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections

It is quick and easy to check your voter information online. If you have moved, changed your name or turned 18 since the 2022 Municipal and School Board Elections, you might not be on the Voters List. 

Voter Registration is an online tool that allows eligible Ontario electors to confirm, update, add or remove their voter information for Ontario provincial and local elections, including elections for municipal Council Members and School Board Trustees.

Transportation and Getting Here

The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen is located on the busy Trans Canada Highway 7 and easy to get to from Toronto and Ottawa.

By Car

From Toronto to Havelock:

  • Take ON-401 East towards Peterborough
  • Merge onto ON-115 North via Exit 436 toward Lindsay/Peterborough.
  • Take the ON-7 East exit toward Ottawa
  • Turn slight right onto Highway 7/Trans Canada East/ON-7 and continue East to Havelock

From Ottawa to Havelock:

  • Take Trans Canada West/ON-417 West
  • Merge onto Highway 7 Trans Canada West/ON-7 W via exit 145 toward Carleton Place/Toronto
  • Continue West to Havelock
