Request for Tender – Contract No. 2026-01 – Reconstruction of County Road No. 48 (George Street)

Sealed Tenders, in clearly marked envelope, will be received by the Public Works Manager at HBM Township, 1 Ottawa Street East, P.O. Box 10, Havelock, ON., K0L 1Z0, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Friday, April 17, 2026, for the following project:

This contract is for the reconstruction and urbanization of County Road 48 (George Street) from George Street Park easterly to Ottawa Street, within the Village of Havelock, and being of approximately 720m.

Additional side street infrastructure tie-ins along Orange Street, Oak Street, and William Street shall be additionally completed.

Work of the contract generally includes; but is not necessarily limited to the following; asphalt removals, granular road base and subbase material removal and re-placement, earth excavation and grading, installation of concrete curb and gutter, installation of concrete sidewalk, installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewers and watermain piping, along with associated appurtenances and concrete structures, and hotmix asphalt paving and surface restorations.
