Remembrance Day Parade, Cenotaph Ceremony, and Reception
HONOUR. REMEMBER. REFLECT.
The 2025 Remembrance Day Poppy Campaign has officially launched in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen. Mayor Jim Martin proudly received his poppy from RCL Branch 389 Poppy Chairperson Tina Driscoll, marking the start of this year’s campaign.
You can pick up poppy at businesses throughout Havelock or the HBM municipal office.
Your poppy is more than a symbol — it’s a tribute to those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Support the campaign by donating and wearing your poppy with pride.
Join us on Tuesday, November 11th for our Annual Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony:
-
Parade lineup: 10:30 AM at the Havelock Legion (8 Ottawa St E)
-
Cenotaph Ceremony & Wreath Laying: 11:00 AM at the Havelock Cenotaph (39 George St E, Havelock)
Remembrance Day Reception
Following the ceremony, everyone is warmly invited back to the Havelock Legion for refreshments and finger foods as we come together in community and remembrance.
Lest we forget.
