HBM Fire & Emergency Services Department – All Fire Restrictions Lifted – Sept. 25, 2025

The Ministry of Natural Resources has updated the Fire Danger Rating to Low. Therefore, HBM Township has also lowered the Fire Danger Rating to Low.

Open air burning is now permitted with a permit. See Open Air Burning By-Law 2017-075.
Small recreational/campfires do not require a fire permit.

Please call 911 to report any out-of-control fires.

HBM Fire & Emergency Services encourages all residents and visitors to obey the Fire Danger Rating signs posted on roadways.
