Heat Warning Alert: 

July 26–28 Environment Canada is forecasting extreme heat this weekend for the County of Haliburton, City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland County, Peterborough County, The City of Peterborough.

Take steps now to protect yourself and others:
  •  Stay hydrated – drink water often
  •  Use fans, AC, or cool showers
  •  Check in on neighbours, family, and vulnerable individuals
  •  NEVER leave people or pets in vehicles

Watch for signs of heat-related illness: Dizziness, nausea, headache, dark urine, rapid breathing, or confusion. Call 911 if someone is unconscious, confused, or stops sweating.
