Volunteer Fair: Meet Your Match
Volunteer Peterborough would like you to be aware of their upcoming Volunteer fair: Meet Your Match!
First, the event is May 8th, from noon to 4:pm. The purpose is to give those who may be web-shy or feel better speaking to someone directly an opportunity to talk to our member agencies and other non-profits who are looking for volunteers. Meet representatives face-to-face and discuss the joys of working with their organization.
How much does it cost? For you, their potential volunteers, nothing. It is a FREE EVENT for those coming to see what's up. If you are a non-profit who is not already signed up, drop a line to volunteer@volunteerpeterborough.ca or call (705) 808-4377.
It's being held at the YMCA of Central East Ontario. No car? No problem. It's either on the Purple #7 route (Trent U Gzowski) or the #23 Red Community Bus.
