Municipal Holiday Hours and Closures

MUNICIPAL HOLIDAY HOURS & CLOSURES

The MUNICIPAL OFFICE will close Wednesday, December 24th at 12:00 pm (noon) and will re-open Friday, January 2nd, at 8:30 am.

VILLAGE CURBSIDE GARBAGE & RECYCLING 

Curbside garbage collection is Friday, December 26 and Friday, January 2
Curbside recycling collection is Saturday, December 27 and Saturday, January 3

TRANSFER STATION CLOSURES
All Transfer Stations are closed December 25, 26 and January 1.

If you have a Public Works emergency, please contact 705-926-0184.

PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE – Significant Weather Event – Monday December 29, 2025

The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen would like to acknowledge the ongoing impacts of the significant freezing rain event. The declared Significant Weather Event remains in effect as public works teams continue to clear sidewalks and roadways.

Please use extreme caution if venturing out today. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the aftermath of this storm. Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel.
