Committees of Council and Cemetery Board Appointments

The Council of the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen invites applicants to serve on the following Committees of Council and Cemetery Board:

Economic Development Committee (4 Appointments)

Mathison Property and Parks Committee (4 Appointments)

Youth Committee (4 Appointments)

Cemetery Board (5 Appointments)

Volunteer appointments will expire with the term of Council on November 14, 2026.

Public Notice - Proposed Rogers 60 Metre Wireless Tower

PUBLIC CONSULTATION

Rogers Communications Inc. ("Rogers") has provided Public Notice they intend to expand their wireless network within the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen.  This Public Notice relates specifically to a 60 metre self-support tower proposed to be installed at 92 Peninsula Rd, Havelock.  Rogers has confirmed the following public notification steps have been taken:

  • Property owners within 180 metres radius of the proposed tower site received Written Notice via mail.
  • The above Public Notice was published in our local newspaper, the Havelock RAIL June 2024 edition, distributed on May 29, 2024.  The Havelock RAIL is distributed free of charge to all mailing addresses within the K0L 1Z0 postal code.
