Canada Post Interruption & Bill Payment Requirement
Due to the Canada Post labour disruption, The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen will not be sending any mail, including planning notices, and bills. Residents and vendors of the Township who have received invoices or tax bills are still required to pay their bills on time, despite the postal disruption.
Utility Billing
As mentioned above, the October Utility bills will not be sent out due to the postal disruption, however, Utility bills will be due on October 31st, 2025. Please contact the office if you require information regarding your balance.
Available Bill Payment Options
Payments can be made via online banking (please allow 3-4 business days for us to receive your payment in office), by debit, cash or cheque during regular business hours, via credit card through Paymentus on hbmtwp.ca website, or cheques can be left in the drop box outside the Municipal Office at 1 Ottawa Street East, Havelock.
Planning Notices
