Municipal Office Closure Notice - Canada Day

The HBM Municipal office will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, in observance of Canada Day. The office will re-open on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, with normal business hours. We hope you have a wonderful Canada Day celebrating with friends and family.

CURBSIDE GARBAGE & RECYCLING - There is no impact to Village curbside collection for Garbage or Recycling. 

TRANSFER STATIONS HOURS - The 6th Line Transfer Station will be open on Monday, July 1, 2024.

CANADA DAY PARADE & FESTIVITIES

June 30th Activities - Cordova Mines

• The Canada Day activities will be held at the Cordova Mines Community Centre from 11am-3pm, which will include snow cones, face painting & tattoos, a fire house, and live music!
• Fireworks will be held outside the Fire Hall at dusk.

July 1st Activities - Havelock

• The Canada Day Parade will commence at 11 am and family-fun activities will follow at the HBM Community Centre featuring Live Music, a BBQ, a Dunk Tank, Giant Inflatables, Great Prizes, and Annual Welly Boot Toss competition, and more. 
• Fireworks will be held south of the railway tracks in Havelock at dusk.
