HBM Township – Fall Hydrant Flushing Notice

The Public Works department will be flushing hydrants

as part of our maintenance program from:

Monday, October 20th  to Friday, October 24th 
and from 
Monday October 27th to Friday, October 31st, 2025   

During this time residents may experience discoloured water.
If this occurs, it would be advisable to refrain from doing
laundry or using hot water until it clears.

Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

 

Canada Post Interruption & Bill Payment

Due to the Canada Post labour disruption, The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen will not be sending any mail, including notices and bills. Residents and vendors of the Township are still required to pay their bills on time, despite the postal disruption.

Utility and Property Tax Payments

Payments can be made via online banking (please allow 3-4 business days for us to receive your payment in office), by debit, cash or cheque during regular business hours, via credit card through Paymentus on hbmtwp.ca website, or cheques can be left in the drop box outside the Municipal Office at 1 Ottawa Street East, Havelock.

Planning Notices 

Planning notices will continue to be posted online, and a physical sign will still be posted on the subject property. If you have any questions, please contact the Planning Department at 705-778-2308 ext. 777 or by email at planning@hbmtwp.ca.

Municipal Office Closure Notice

Please be aware, the Municipal Office will be closed on Good Friday, March 29th and Easter Monday, April 1st, 2024. We hope all residents and visitors of HBM Township thoroughly enjoy their Easter weekend.

GARBAGE & RECYCLING
Curbside collection for Garbage and Recycling will operate as normal and there are no changes to the Transfer Station(s) "Winter Hours" schedule.

PARKS & RECREATION
The HBM Community Centre will be closed on Good Friday, March 29th, 2024 and on Easter Monday, April 1st, 2024.

Township staff and Council would like to wish you a wonderful and safe Easter weekend.
