HBM Township – Fire & Emergency Services - Fire Ban Lifted August 29, 2025

The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen has lifted the Full Fire Ban effective Friday August 29, 2025. 

The Ministry of Natural Resources has lowered the Fire Danger Rating to LOW. 

However, HBM Township fire danger rating has been lowered to a HIGH. 

NO Day Time Burning, only small contained campfires in the evenings are permitted. 

Burning of large brush piles is NOT permitted. 

Small recreational/campfires do not require a burn permit.

Please call 911 to report any out-of-control fires.

The HBM Fire & Emergency Services encourages all residents and visitors to obey the Fire Danger Rating signs posted.
