Employment Opportunity: Equipment Operator 2
The Township is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time permanent ‘Equipment Operator 2’ position.
This position is responsible for maintaining municipal roads, bridges, culverts and water / waste water distribution system while operating and maintaining various pieces of municipality-owned construction/maintenance equipment.
The incumbent must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and a valid Class DZ driver’s licence (an up-to-date copy of a clean driver’s abstract must be provided by the successful candidate). One must have proven experience operating tandem and single axle dump trucks, backhoe, front-end loader and grader with knowledge and understanding of standard vehicle safety and employment health and safety procedures. Previous grader experience will be considered a strong asset.
