HBM Township – Complete Water Restriction – September 15, 2025

HBM Township – Complete Water Restriction – September 15, 2025

A Complete Water Restriction remains in effect. Watering of lawns and gardens; washing of cars, unless at a licensed car wash; and all other non-mandatory watering; is completely banned until the municipal water supply aquifer returns to a normal level. The exception to this complete ban is that small flower pots and hanging baskets may be hand watered.

Ontario Clean Water Agency (OWCA) has advised that with decreasing aquifer levels, the standby Well #3 is providing approximately 75% of the water to HBM residents.

Due to the extremely low water table, upon recommendation from OCWA, the George Street Splash Pad has closed for the 2025 operating season.

Crowe Valley Conservation Authority (CVCA) has declared a Low Water Level III.
