HBM FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES – FIRE DANGER RATING - EXTREME
Please be advised that due to the heat and poor air quality (caused by the smoke from wildfires), HBM Township Fire Danger Rating is set to Extreme.
No Day Time Burning – no open-air burning permitted, only small campfires in the evening with caution and extreme care.
Small evening only campfires are permitted and ensure fires are properly extinguished.
Poor air quality tips:
• Limit time outdoors.
• Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.
• Keep windows and doors closed as much as possible.
• Check in on others who are in your care or live nearby who may be more likely to be impacted by wildfire smoke.
