Half Loads in Effect

Half load restrictions for HBM Township go into effect Friday, March 1st and will continue until April 30th. The restrictions apply to all HBM Township maintained roads.

The load restrictions went into effect early due to the unseasonably warm weather and early thaw. Roads are most vulnerable to heavy vehicle damage during the thaw and the half load restrictions help to minimize the potential damage.

During the restricted period, vehicles will be limited to 5 tonnes per axle, and there is limited truck and transport access to these areas.
