Alto’s response to the What We Heard Report
Minister MacKinnon has directed Alto to develop a plan that will assess a southern route option.
The southern route option will bypass the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen.
This route will go between Peterborough and Ottawa that includes a potential stop in Kingston and would interconnect with VIA Rail services, subject to technical feasibility and project requirements.
