Quebec Street Reconstruction Update - Sept 8 to Sept 19, 2025

Here we are in September, the kids are back to school, and the work on Quebec Street is well under way. As of Wednesday Sept. 3rd, the sanitary sewer work has been completed. Next up is the watermain and storm sewer work.

With the anticipated heavy rain forecast on Sept 5th, QBT did some general grading and clean-up.

The storm and watermain work, beginning just off Hwy #7, will take place simultaneously, and is expected to reach Ontario Street by Sept 12th, after which just the watermain will continue northerly. Interruptions to your water supply are not expected to take place in the next 2 weeks. Once the watermain is installed, the work will continue with the remaining storm sewer.
