NOTICE TO RESIDENTS: Be Careful What You Flush!
NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS
In partnership with Ontario Clean Water Association (OCWA), we would like to remind residents, please do not flush wet wipes, paper towel, facial tissue
Prevent costly emergency repairs by flushing only human waste & toilet paper.
As the COVID-19 situation continues, some municipalities are reporting issues with residents flushing items such as wet wipes, paper towel and facial tissue.
Even items labelled “flushable” should not be flushed. That’s because they do not break down like toilet paper does.
If you have any questions about where to dispose of something, please contact the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Office at 705 778 2308.
Please review the notices attached for full details and information!
